PERMISSION

A 5RHYTHMS® DANCE | MOVEMENT WORKSHOP WITH ANNE MARIE HOGYA

How do we give ourselves permission?

To be strong.

To be soft.

To be seen.

To fall apart and come alive again.

Permission is a weekend of movement and discovery.

Together, we will investigate what it means to move beyond the walls we build around our hearts — and into the wide, wild landscape of our own truth.

Through the 5Rhythms Waves map, we’ll explore strength, vulnerability, authenticity, and the possibility of deep connection — with self, other, and life itself.

This workshop invites your full-bodied yes.

GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION.

Permission is a weekend workshop about listening to yourself, to what is true for you, and to what wants to move or change.

Most of us are used to pushing through things. We stay busy, stay composed, and keep going even when something in us says slow down, stop, or wait. Over time, we get good at overriding ourselves in our bodies, in our relationships, and in our lives, and we lose touch with choice.

This weekend is a chance to pause and pay attention. To notice what is actually happening for us and to practice responding from a more honest place. Movement is the way we explore this, but the questions are much wider than the dance floor.

We’ll work with music, movement, and the 5Rhythms Waves map to explore how we relate to permission, where we push, where we hold back, and what changes when we give ourselves more space to choose.

All are welcome. No previous experience is needed.
